Case is a dispute over the will and real estate originally owned by Anderson Cheek in Marion County, which was purchased or inherited by Ms. Sarah Alder, wife of Barnabus Alder. B. Alder's will gave the land to his wife and then to his 8 sons. After the couple died, the sons sold the land to Brown & Spears for $10,310. The daughters who were not included in the original sale sought proceeds of the sale. |

However, the document notes that the prison at Marion is insufficient to hold prisoners, so Farris was to be taken to the prison at Franklin County. |
