Voyles took the switcher job, as Goldston told him the wages were better. Voyles mashed his finger while coupling without a lantern (Goldston told him he wouldn't need one), so he sued. |

Plaintiff owned a small clothing store located on the south side of the public square in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. Her store and stock of goods were destroyed by fire on February 2, 1894. Plaintiff brought suit complaining that the defendant, an insurance company, refused to honor her policy. Casefile notes that F. Friedman did not speak English fluently. Her nationality is unclear. |

The plaintiffs and defendants in this case are in dispute as to whether or not contractors had complied with their contracts and whether they were entitled to further pay for work and labor and materials funded in said contract. The contractors where hired to build a building on a lot in Shelby County. It appears that it was not completed as specified and inferior work was done. In particular there were problems with plumbing and ventilation. |

As a freeman, Peter accumulated a small amount of property before his death. His will and codicil attempted to give all property to his wife and daughter. For some reason, pltf. wants them declared void. Parmelia remarried with Henry Banks. Banks granted a fraudulent deed to Lewis Days to settle debts. Acklen wished to reclaim the property rights. |

Gallagher and McGuire bought a tract of land together, built a storehouse, and started a business that dealt in dry goods. McGuire then conveyed the lot and storehouse to J. W. McCarty. Gallagher sued to have McCarty's deed declared a cloud on his rightful title. McCarty's title voided, and rent and debts due for use of the land paid. |
