Defendant in error, wife of Moss Cook dec, aka Boss, alleges that the plaintiff in error has refused to pay the amount due under a life insurance policy held in her husband’s name. Said policy was taken out through Moss's employer, the United States Pipe and Foundry Company. Moss became permanently disabled and died in 1933 from bronchial issues. C. E. Losey had a fire insurance policy with National Union Fire Insurance Co. for $950.00 coverage. His home was loss to an accidental fire and he submitted a claim to insurance co. with required documentation and they have not paid. He sues for the $950.00 coverage which he claims his policy entitles him to.

Plaintiff sued defendant insurance company for benefit payout related to permanent and total disability due to pulmonary tuberculosis, as well as chest and back pain. Exhibit: Life insurance policy form John Hancock Mutual Ins. Co., disability benefit claim

Plaintiff was an employee of American Glanzstoff Corporation and had a policy with defendant company through employers group insurance policy. Plaintiff fell ill 13 days before policy was cancelled and filed for disability benefits. His claim was denied therefore he sued defendant company for benefits.

Underwood became ill with rheumatism, but his premiums were not paid up at that time. Sometime later his doctor died and was not available to testify. Additionally, his defense died before the final appeal. However, he was still able to recover a small payment of $105.00 from the plaintiff.

Waters had an insurance policy with New York Life when she became ill. Her condition included uterine fibroid tumors, nephritis, and other issues effecting her lower body. She sued the insurance company for compensation due to her disability which lasted over three months.

Jolley's insured building was allegedly completely destroyed by fire. Upon investigation by his insurance company, the Milwaukee Mechanics Insurance Co., the damage was found not to be a total loss. Jolley sued to prove that the building was damaged beyond use and to recoup the difference.

Plaintiff sued defendant for money owed against a policy due to an accident in which the plaintiff sustained bodily injury. Exhibit: Policy document, copy of check for plaintiff's lost wages, Increase in benefits document.

Defendant in error held a disability insurance policy through his employer the American Bomberg Corporation. Defendant argues that while he was an employee of the said company and while the said policy was active, he became ill, totally disabled, and unable to work. Defendant further argues that the plaintiff in error refused to honor his policy. Exhibit material includes insurance policy contracts and information. 3 folders.

Honeycutt seeks $1100 in insurance claims due to total disability. While working for Glanzstoff Corporation the plaintiff inhaled noxious gases causing her to faint. Following this episode she became nervous and had constant tremors. This case is very similar to 10 other cases involving the Glanzstoff Co. where employees claim disability following gas poisoning. The related case, "Myra M. Orr v. Joseph Orr, et al." may be found in ET 43. While the parties are primarily the same, it appears that these are two separate suits. Pla. and def. were granted a divorce in 1926 and entered into a contract setting forth their mutual property rights. Said contract included a guarantee that the def. would carry a $10,000 life insurance policy and name the pla. as his beneficiary. Pla. claims the def. has failed to honor this agreement.

Gladys Corinne Leiker was concussed, and had two inch cut above her eye. Additionally, she damaged her elbow. Although her insurance policy was meant to pay her $80 a month, they refused to recognize she was disabled. Her medical records state clearly that she was unable to work and was disabled.

His doctor states Morrison had typhoid fever a one point, and now suffers from chronic inflammation of the gall bladder, as well as chronic tonsillitis. Northwestern National Life Insurance Company does not consider his complete disability.
