A witness testified that Graves shot him while they were at the witness' house. They decided to go to Flat Woods & "whip old Tom chappell & a negro," Chappell was involved in a debt dispute. Grave's brother Tom was at Flat Woods as well on Sunday morning . Plaintiff argued with the witness who was eventually shooting the shoulder by James Graves. |

In 1873 Bandy shot William Little with a pistol, and was accused of "Malicious Shooting." Bandy & Little were walking along a road, with Little's hand on Bandy's shoulder. Little pulled on Bandy's shoulder, catching his shirt and causing it to tear. Bandy told Little he would shoot him for tearing his shirt and held up his gun. Little lunged at him and Bandy fired. |
