Cause of action: Barn Burning. Defendant is accused of burning a barn owned by C. E. Shelton and rented by Elijah Barnwell. At the time of the burning, Walker was an employee of Ferdinand Trepannier and often slept in his barn. Trepannier describes Walker as being of good character and industrious. Motives for the burning are unclear. |
