McMillen shows that Bank is in one suit against Gillispie and another against Jones for drafts. McMillen wants Bank to kept from collecting, transfering, or otherwise disposing of said drafts or their proceeds from Gillispie and Jones and that the same be collected to pay bills of Bank held by McMillen. |

Additional defendants: Samuel R. McCamy and Benjamin Chandler. Defendants were partners under Thompson & Co. Anderson was accommodation endorser for the firm Chandler & Co. and Thompson & Co. Anderson sued for liability on a $1000 bill from October 1860 which was removed from the bank and debt never paid. Planters Bank had brought suit against defendants, including Anderson, and won. Anderson was compelled to pay the $1000. Now he's suing to be held accountable only as accom. Endorser. |
