In January, 1923, L.W. McGee deposited with the defendant 2 US Govt. Treasury notes- series C-1925. The principal sum is $1000.00 each plus interest of 4 1/2% payable in 1925. Per contract the bank was supposed to return the notes to him upon demand. The bank refuses to do so. |
