Plaintiff sued defendant for $2500 & interest, plus statutory penalty of 25% of the amount due. On Aug. 1935 plaintiff's left hand was accidentally severed above the right wrist by a saw. Doctors were able to reattach the hand, but it is essentially useless. Metropolitan Life has refused to honor the claim, although the plaintiff's policy was paid up & in force at the time the accident occurred. |

Nance Motor Co. repossessed Tipton's Plymouth because of delinquent payment. Gump held the note. Unbeknown to Tipton, his son, Will Tipton, bought the car on the same day it was repossessed. Will wrecked the car & Nance picked it up for repair. When Nance attempted to return the car to Will, he would not take it. Nance then went to defendant to induce him to take the car. He would not.
