Union Gin and Lumber bought lumber that Lightfoot had on hand for $1252.00. A contract was then made between the two parties that Lightfoot would sell all of his stock of lumber if Union Gin and Lumber agreed to employ him. Union Gin and Lumber agreed to employ him with the stipulation that he would not engage in the lumber, ice, coal, lime, cement business, nor in ginning or handling cotton, cotton seed, corn or other grain. If he was found in violation, it would cost $10.00 per every day of breach. |
