Finley was a pawn broker and had lost an expensive diamond from his store. Dugger told Finley he had found it at jewelry store in Chattanooga. Finley paid Dugger to retrieve the diamond for him. Dugger spent that money, plus more on credit from Finley. Finley sued to get the money back, but Dugger was insolvent. |

In February, 1914, D.L. Russell entered into a written contract with Tennessee Hoop Company to supply it with 380,000. feet of gum logs. Russell delivered and received payment for 140,857 ft. of gum logs, leaving a balance of 59,143 ft. which Russell was willing to deliver. Defendant refused delivery and payment of the final lot of gum logs due, thereby breaching the contract. |

This was to be done at no cost to Bain, and would be removed upon his request. Due to misrepresentation, Bain signed a "note" and Colt threatened to sue. Bain has requested the lamp removed, has been ignored and informed he is being charged for the installation and upkeep of said light plant. |

Shaw rented a farm to Walton. In the rental contract, Shaw required Walton to "sow thirty acres of land in wheat, with the right reserved in the contract" that Walton could "sow grass on the thirty acres of wheat." After the wheat was cut and removed, Shaw turned a large amount of cattle out on the land that destroyed and trampled all Walton's grass. Walton "brought this suit enjoining the defendants from turning cattle into this particular field." |

Kennedy took the money, but did not fulfill his end of their agreement. |
