Fox had been convicted of disturbing the mayor of Obion while in the discharge of the mayor's official duties. Fox used "threatening and grossly indecorous language" and was rendered in contempt of court. The first page is so blackened that it is impossible to read, therefore docket number cannot be identified. Pages two & three are also soot damaged. The court is likewise unidentified. |

Includes Memorandum Opinion of Circuit Court and original suit of Bill Davy - Col. v. Nashville, Chattanooga & St. Louis Railway Company from the Circuit Court of Obion County. Mr. Davy initial suit alleged personal injury totaling $3000 after being flung from the train during departure. Mr. Davy was awarded $500 in damages, and the Court of Appeals upheld the initial ruling. Housed in three folders. |
