Plaintiff was the owner of a 2 story brick building located on the north side of the public square in Pulaski, TN. Said building was insured against fire through the defendant. On October 26, 1889 said building was completely destroyed by fire. Plaintiff and the defendant entered into negotiations to determine the value of the loss. Plaintiff was unsatisfied with the appraisal and brought suit. The destroyed building was situated near an area referred to as "Coon Corner." |
