Addtl dfnt: W. J. Hill, Sherriff of Davidson County. French purchased a plot of land from Wm. Morrow in March of 1891. In April of 1891, four corporations won levies against Morrow. Dfnt. corporation won levy against the plot purchased by French. French sued to show the levy and sale of his plot of land was and void.

Additional defendants: Fannie Frymire and Benjamin Capps. Pltf. sued to assert his right of ownership of a tract of land. After a divorce, pltf. allowed wife to maintain residence on the property, but her daughter attempted to claim ownership after her mother's death.
