The plaintiff entered into a contract with the defendant to provide chairs for seating in the new court house. The total was $ 553.20 and the plaintiff seeking this total from defendant.

Kutsche Company did not pay McWhorter his total wage for work done on a Knoxville post office, totaling $108. However, he is accused of working at the rate of thirty cents an hour, then after the job was complete asking for a higher wage for work paid and completed. The Nashville Bridge Co., represented by Jacob McGavock and Thomas Martin. Morrison was owner of a bridge across the Cumberland River at Nashville which he leased to the Nashville Bridge Co. under agreement that he was to receive "all tolls, issues and profits of the same for the term of one year." Road promised to be built from the north side of bridge to intersect with road to Page's Ferry. Plaintiff alleges profits denied.

The defendants are the owners of "Forebaugh & Sells Brothers Greatest United Shows." Contract dispute as to rental of properties for circus in Shelby Co. Hon. F.H. Heiskell, Chancellor, Shelby County TN.

Oral contract were entered with both of the respondents upon the assumption that the said buisness would be operated as a partnership business. They opended up a service station called Strickler Service Station, but it was abanonded by 1931. Complainants say that the respondents are indebted to them for $1105. 51. 3 folders. Exhibit materials in folder 3. Dispute over vague conditions in lumber contract. Plaintiff states that $16,000 worth of their lumber under the contract was being held in defendant's yard. Company advanced money but never received their share of the product. Includes assignment of error

Incomplete case. Briefs only. The Allison Lumber Co. furnished defendant with lumber under special contract for use in the building of a house on her property. All the lumber was contracted for and furnished prior to an execution of a deed of trust to W.A. Sadd and Taylor Durham, trustees, to secure a loan from the Chattanooga Savings Bank & Trust Co., except $134.56 worth. The plaintiff sought to hold def. to the contract made on her behalf by her husband as her agent.

Hutchinson owned property in Knox county that she commercially leased to Oscar Dunn and James Carson, whom erected buildings on the property. The lease was sold and conveyed to W. M. Fulton by Dunn and Carson, however Hutchinson was unhappy with the terms of the transfer. She believed that Fulton had created a corporation for the purpose of stripping and selling the commercial property, thereby defrauding Hutchinson.

Deals with "re-insurance." The 2 companies referred to are the Arlington Insurance Co. and the Citizens Insurance Co. This is only an additional brief to a case. Boyd and Sims's first names are not mentioned.

Additional defendant: George T. Lewis, Rec. of the State and President of the railroad. Plaintiffs: James B. Cross, W. B. Cross, & C. Parker. Bradley & Harrell was contracted with President and Directors of RR to build a depot & station house for said company. Plaintiffs claimed the defendant did not pay them for their work an that they are entitled to a lien as mechanics on the said lot of ground and buildings for their work, labor, and materials furnished.

Other defendants include Austin Myers & William M. Farrington, Pres. Of Memphis City Railroad Co. Plaintiff accuses defendants of failing to produce stock which her late husband had contracted to purchase. File includes several pages of briefs.

The contract under dispute concerns the buying and selling of cotton oil. The word "crescent" is misspelled as "cresent" throughout.

Dispute was over the bulk sales of corn by the plaintiff. Exhibits include booklet of exchange.

Plaintiffs D. B. and D. E. Andrews filed suit against defendants E. P. Warner and Mattie E. Post for breach of contract. Plaintiffs agreed to complete carpentry work to build a house for Warner on a lot she owned on Burch St. in Chattanooga within 60 days . They claimed they were unable to complete it because Warner did not have the plaster finished per the timetable in their contract, did not make the first payment, and did not have title to the lot. They accused defendants of fraud and requested a lien.
