Pltf. sued to recover $230 in damages due by breach of contract. Employed by dfnt., pltf. claimed they refused pay her for hours worked. Boyd claimed the dfnt. sold items for cheaper in the drug stores, but still expected her to keep up her sales. Boyd gave the example of Golden Peacock Bleach Cream sold in stores for $.69, but she was forced to sell it for $1.00.

The case concerned a steamboat accident involving the "Alf Stevens" (owned by the plaintiff) and the "Dick Fulton No. 3" (owned by the defendants). The firm of Riddle, Coleman, & Co. was composed of George R. Riddle, John C. Coleman, and W. S. Parker.

Additional Plaintiffs: James Word, M.W. McClure, James Johnson, and S.S. Hayes. Plaintiffs are appealing the Defendants original charges.

Pltf. sued for $30,000 in damages after J. T. Mangrum was killed at a right-of-way near Camden Nov. 28, 1931. The nearly four years old decedent had climbed onto the tracks around an underpass where the rail crossed highway No. 1. Pltf. claimed the engine failed to sound the whistle or ring the bell and failed to stop the locomotive in enough time to avoid the accident. Ex mat.: Photos, OS illustration. Found bound with W. W. Damages to leased properties, $167.20 and costs, rendered by magistrate, 5 Aug. 1897. Appeal to Supreme Court. Damage to rear stairway, repairs to elevator; broken windows; damages to walls due to removal; damages to cellar; damages to paint on First Floor area- store building located at 330 Main St., Memphis, lease made in 1896.

Plea of damages conversion of property under $500. Dollars.

Damages for $5,000 for bodily harm.
