Connable Veneer and Lumber Company consists of Luke Connable, John L. Connable, Joseph M. Connable, Ralph M. Connable, Joseph H. Booes, and Frank Hershey. Sues for $5-7,000 remaining on his contract as wages. Two folders.

Plaintiff sued to recover $3,800 for debt on work done to Baxter Court, and place a mechanic's lien on the sale of said building until debts are paid. Plaintiff hired to plaster walls and deaden floors in Baxter Court. Baxter founded the Tennessee Central Railroad, was the publisher of The Legal Reporter and served on the Tennessee State Senate.

Plaintiff Malcom sued the defendant for debt due for wages of $304. Malcom provided childcare the defendant's five children from 1880-1883, for which she claimed she was not paid. Malcom also accused the defendant of hiding his property to avoid payment.

Complainants are the Trustees of the Hospital: R. E. Johnson, F. S. Johnson, L. R. Rogers, U. S. Walton, J. J. Evans, O. S. Ridley, W. M. Davis. As trustees they have management and complete control of the hospital ground and building. The lot on which the hospital stands was bequeathed to the church for the purpose of building a hospital. The Trustee leased the property for a period of 12 years for the purpose of erecting a building. Dr Martin operated hospital to end of lease. Failed to make payments.

Exhibits: envelopes, minutes of city council, notice. Plaintiff's initials are also E. R. in another part of the transcript.

The plaintiff was employed as a cook for Gibson County to feed prisoners. He accused the county of not paying him in full.

Action was brought under Chapter 27 of the Public Acts of 1923/Section #8835 in the Code of 1932, known as the "Declaratory Judgements and Decrees Regulated by Uniform Law." Pltf. sued to force the full payment of his state regulated salary.

E D Phillips and wife, M E Phillips- co-plaintiffs M E Phillips taught at a school run by the Smith Brothers ,(RD Smith and RH Smith). She taught there 1882 and 1883 but had to leave for health reasons. After her departure, she asked the Smith Brothers to return to her report book in which she kept a record of all the lessons given to pupils during the term. They said they did not have the book. She is looking to recover money due her for additional lessons.

Pltf. sued to recover $66.50 for unpaid rent and the use of electric fan.

Seeking $2,000 in wages for work and labor performed at the request of McGhee; Fletcher and Tillman real estate brokers and McGhee employed them to sell his farm.
