Other claimants are Aaron C. Kaufman, Milton C. Kaufmn, Benjamin C. Kaufman, & Solomon C. Kaufman. They are sued for $1400 of unpaid debt. The wife is identified only as Mrs. W. P. Boone.

Complainant claims that Chris A. Stathis, doing business under the trade name of Southern Tea, Coffee, & Spice Co. is indebted to him for $9436.50 for an order of sugar he purchased from the complainant.

This suit was brought by Crewes & Robinson upon an account of $163.00 for supplies and merchandise allegedly to have been furnished to John Overton in 1920 per request of W.C. Pipkin.-

Plaintiff is sued for debt in the sum of $27 against the defendant for goods and services rendered.

First National sued claiming they were the owner of a $500 Certificate of Deposit signed to them by George Baker, but Citizens Bank refused to honor the Certificate. Amount sued for was $500 plus 4% interest from 1918.

Prior to 1916, the defendant was indebted to the plaintiff in excess of $3,000 for goods and merchandise sold by the plaintiff to the defendant, who then executed a promissory note for $460 and the remaining sum would be paid by the transfer of land. The defendant failed to pay the note or file for the transfer of the land.

Mesker sued claiming they were owed $324.65 for work they performed for the defendant, W. H. Carter. Contract was for Mesker to install a store front for Carter.

The Brumbaugh System is seeking $108.00 due on account for advertising matter installed by Blumbaugh System for Summer under a written contract. Case was originally heard by a Justice of the Peace.

Defendant is justly indebted by account to the plaintiff in the sum of $630.00 for bed and lodging during the past six years at $10.00 per month and for laundry at $1.00 per month. The aggregate total being $691.00 with interest.

Hahn sued claiming he had paid Douglass $150 in earnest money for the purchase of a piece of property but the property had a title issue and purchase could not proceed. Hahn sued to get his earnest money refunded.

This case was brought before A. M. Moultrie, a Justice of the Peace for Obion County. J.W. Buchanan sued T. C. Wilson for an amount under $500.00.

J.J. Davis owes the Peoples Bank and Trust $264.00

Plaintiff is sued for a debt due by account for board and lodging in the sum of $116.

Plaintiff employed the defendant to bring about a petition for divorce against one Robert T. Laird. There was then a hold over certain funds ($1,347.50) to be paid to the defendant for his services, but he later filed an injunction on the petition for divorce until the funds were paid, which was contradictory to their original contract. Defendant claimed a $100 fee was never represented as the plaintiff states.

The defendant is indebted to the plaintiff by two promissory notes, one for $2,500 plus interest and the second for $5,000 plus interest.
