Plaintiff claims tract under a grant from the State of TN to Thomas D. Mackbee for 5000 acres dated 1838. Defendant claims land under TN grant to G.W. Bell and Henry Lockhart for 5000 acres in 1857. Both parties admit both grants cover the land in question. Bells heirs include: Benjamin Bell, Joseph Bell, Johnson Bell, Franklin Bell and Luella Bell. |
