B.M. Johnson executor and manager of J.H. Johnson's (father) estate. Over the ten years following the death of J. H. his investments and real estate holdings gathered interest and rents. This case pays out interest and other payments to B. M. There is no mention of the defendant or how he plays into this case.

Blue was the owner of a home in which he lived and stored building materials such as columns, casings and doors. When Gunn purchased the home, the materials remained. Gunn used the materials in the home and Blue brought suit claiming that the materials were not included in the sale of the home.

Other prominent names: Lew Grant, Maggie Platt, and Mrs. Mueller. The unique thing about this deed dispute is the controversy over the testimony of a Mrs. Mueller. The complainants attempted to discredit Mueller's testimony, claiming that she was addicted morphine and could not be trusted to tell the truth. The case also involves attempted fraud in the conveyance of property.

Convoluted case involving the city & cooperage company, the Union Railway Co., and the Illinois Central R.R. Complainant makes 23 separate allegations. A major portion regards the I.C.R.R. straightening a part of its track. Water damage.

Life insurance policy for $10,000.00 for James H. Anderson, deceased- plaintiff's husband. Additional plaintiff: Peter Anderson. Two briefs included.

The def was a benefit fund insurance company & had issued Whiteside's husband a fund of $2k payable to her upon his death. Her husband died with all premiums & dues up to date. They refused to pay stating that Charles Whiteside was in poor health when he signed the paperwork. Whiteside sued to recover the benefit due her from claim.

Globe Clothing Company was a clothing wholesaler located in Knoxville. Apparently Wender & Golumbic had been advanced merchandise to sell and were not able to pay for the goods.

Co-defendant: Rebecca S. Lea. Defendants claim that the plaintiffs neglected to remove a wall they had contracted to take out before defendant company began work on their building, and that they had another construction project going on at the same time which interfered with their work. Folder 2 includes printed defense brief.

Court ruled in favor of Strong and McIntyre, because Kinzel based his land sale details on an 1871 deed. His deed did not mention land that had been parceled off and sold separately. Since Kinzel had not paid taxes on the land for 26 years, it was encumbered with debt to the county.

Whitehead claimed he was owed money for products sold by defendant so Whitehead sued to collect on a $500 surety bond guaranteed by all defendants.
