The defendant had an insurance policy with the defendant for $1,500 of coverage on his house, barn, and all of the property within. In 1926, the plaintiff's barn caught fire and it and all its contents were destroyed. From the proof of loss, the plaintiff claims that $500 should be secured on the barn, but the defendant refuses to settle with the plaintiff, even after several attempts. Plaintiff filed to recover the $500 covered by his policy. |
