Breece bought 2 pieces of Hickman County land from T.S. Easley & his wife L.J. Easley, after which Def. Bond became security for a debt T.S. owed & ultimately got a judgment against T.S. for that debt & tried to execute that judgment against this land. Hunter was the sheriff charged with levying against land to satisfy judgments. Breece asked court for injunction to keep Def.. from selling the land. Main issue was whether Breece's deed properly registered. Witnesses: Walker, Thomas, Bates. |

Harbison). Elijah Pendergrass claims tract of land based on deed shared between him and now deceased brother Manly T. Pendergrass. Defendants claim adverse possession and believe Pendergrass bought claim or pretended right to land to bring a lawsuit. |

Peyton said the same land had been sold by the orders of the court in case of George Bird v. E. Cantrell to enforce the vendor's lien which Bird claimed as being the owner of. |

Daniel Tatum died owning 1000 acres via state grant #16815 & 3 sons, Jesse Rosser Tatum (died w/o issue), Jonathan, & def. James, & 1 daughter, plaintiff Diana Moore. Wife Margaret died. Jonathan & Daniel's brother Edward sold the land to John B. Groves. Groves sold it to A.O.P. Nicholson & A.V. Brown, and to settle Brown's estate, it was sold to Medora Dortch, who sold it to def. Warner Iron. Dispute: Jonathan only had 1/3 interest & Edward had no interest. Daniel's children who died: Susan, Price. |

He willed his property to be divided equally among his four children (plaintiffs), including 1000 acres in Hickman Co.
