A month or so later, he filed this petition for divorce. Court ruled in Elizabeth's favor, finding there was no grounds for divorce. |

Opinion only. James Moyer sued for a divorce from his wife Amy Moyer due to her threatening to poison him. Amy blamed his cruel and inhumane treatment of her. James amended his petition and charged her with adultery, which Amy denied and charged him with repeatedly violating his marriage vows. It was charged that Ray had mistreated Mae and had "tried to get rid of her in various ways," one an attempt to confine her to a lunatic asylum. |

Judge believed it was her fault that he remained away. Court dismissed her case and had her pay cost of suit. Plaintiff appealed. |
