Pleasant Doughty, one of James Doughty's heirs, took exception to their report on the grounds that the amount of provisions set aside for the widow was "extravagant" & unjust to the heirs. Court agreed & reappointed the commissioners to lay off a new dower for the widow, who appealed the decision. Other heirs of James Doughty not named. |
