J. C. Long brought suit for the elderly Elisha Long who died before it was heard. Long requested damages for land taken by the railroad as right of way and for the court to set aside the deed of said tract of land that Elisha conveyed while non compes mentis. Exhibits: There is one small map of the "Thos. Long" tract that shows the railroad track running through it and one oversized map that shows the track in large scale in M-17-20. Majority of case is in box ET 1826. |

Adkins (of dec. son Pet Adkins). H.C. sick, lived at home of Mary (granddaughter) & Sam McCracken until he died. While ill, executed deed to McCrackens, which other heirs now allege procured by fraud/undue influence. Land: 2 tracts on Clinch River. |
