Cora Distretti's husband Louis died on December 6, 1926. They had a life insurance policy in place with the defendant but the defendant refused to pay the whole amount of the policy after his death. Plaintiff sued for $4000, the value stated of the policy. Louis had been shot by two "bandits" that had robbed a store he owned and died from the wounds. Exhibits that are supposed to be attached to pages 63 and 64 are missing. |

McDaniel asserted the Ins. Co. owed him $300 for a policy that stated if more than 1/10th of an inch of rain fell on May 31, 1926 between the hours of 10a and 4p his property would be insured. It rained more than that during the timeframe, thus making the company liable for payment. |

Plaintiffs siblings: Acie Durbin, Edward Durbin, Bob Durbin, Ploma Durbin Britt, Nora Durbin Thompson & Bertie Durbin Wyatt. Each sibling had an insurance policy on their father, the defendant. Plaintiff filed injunction bill in the form of a mandamus suit against defendant who was seeking to force her by decree to turn over insurance policy. |

Plaintiff purchased from defendant a Federal Two-Ton Truck, Motor No. 12627 for $1125. Plaintiff used truck in his business and while in Augusta, Arkansas the truck sunk on a ferry in the White River. Pltf. claimed dfnt. said truck was covered by liability and collision insurance. Insurance company settled with defendant for $500, but the plaintiff never received any credit for the loss of the truck. Some files found with State v. Frank Abels, et al. (WT2156). |

Tennessee and her husband, James B. Drake, took out life insurance policies naming each other beneficiaries. James died on April 23, 1926 of a protracted illness that affected his heart. Premiums were kept on schedule. After her husband took ill, Ins. Agent M. M. McGaughey attempted to get them to cancel one of the policies. Pltf. kept policies with L. G. Murray, who surrendered docs to said agent who cancelled them. This was not told to pltf until after James' death. |
