Additional Defendants: Peter D. Bow (col), Peter Jenkins (col), Edmond Carter (col), and Leandis Linville (all renters of the land in question). Driver filed his original bill in 1879 against Dixon to enforce a vendor's lien on a 305 acre tract of land and two notes for $2,000 each given by Dixon to Driver. Dixon filed a cross bill and claimed that Driver had misrepresented the character of the land and its soil. Includes reported case booklet.
