Additional Defendants: Sallie Charles, John Cape, and Charles Harris. The plaintiff sued the defendants to reclaim 42.5 acres of land he claimed to have a grant for from the state through Governor Robert L. Taylor. He charged the defendants with illegally possessing said land and striping it of its valuable timber. Claymon requested an injunction to halt the removal of resources from the land and requested a survey of the land and confirmation of its ownership. Includes hand-drawn map of disputed land. |
