The lot and house had a $1000 lien that was not made clear to Plaintiff and the 5 lots were subject to significant flooding. Plaintiff was an African American couple who felt they were fraudulently sold the land in Nashville. |

The plaintiffs James and Lizzie sued the defendant, Joeseph Brauch, for $450 of rent on a lot they possessed for the period they were dispossessed of it. They were in previous suits with the defendant that were ruled in his favor and resulted in their eviction from their home. When the court ruled the defendant's deed and claim to mortgage was void, the plaintiffs moved back into their home and brought suit to recover the funds the lost during the defendant's occupation of their lot. |

An act passed by the State Assembly in 1858 warranted the transfer of the property of the Female Branch of the Rhea Academy to the Greeneville Masonic Lodge No. 119. Turntine, admr. et al. v. P. L. Powel et al. Plaintiffs claim there was no consent as two of the plaintiffs were minors and no proof shown that the decree was in the interest of the minors. |

Richard Smiley conveyed by deed to Robert Williams a tract of land. Robert died, leaving leaving the tract to his wife, Julia F., who also passed. O'Neal sued as admr. of the Williams estate. |

Perry thought he was conveying about 304 acres for $7,000 but the tract in fact had about 400, which Perry claimed that Williamson knew about but did not tell Perry about. |
