Richards of Newark, New Jersey, sued the defendants to claim title and regain possession of a tract of land in Morgan County. The Richards claimed the defendants wrongfully claimed ownership and proceeded to take timber and otherwise disturb the tract for their own gain. Exhibit is an oversized map of land tracts in question. |

Asa and Eliza Teal had owned a tract of land for 7 years when Walker came one day claiming he bought the land and had a deed to it. Walker pressured Teal to sign a paper making him a tenant on the threat of being thrown out of his house. In pending case, Walker sued for unlawful detainer and to collect rents. Teal suing for injunction against Walker's suit and clear title to said land. This files contains many misc. deeds, notes, conveyances, etc. dating back to at least 1827. 2 folders. |

Noel as required by terms and conditions and his title be decreed good. |

Isbell also wanted receiver to take charge of corn crop on land to prevent defendants from using, selling, or destroying the crop. |

In 1867, White purchased a tract of land on Fall Branch adjoining the Baptist Church lot on Main St. in the village of Fall Branch from J. H. Crouch. Thomas Brandon later filed and won a suit against Crouch that involved a levy of attachment on Crouch's land. White asserted that did not apply to the land he bought with a clear title. White requested an injunction to prevent Brandon from taking possession. See related cases of Thomas M. Brandon v. Crouch in ET12a, 726, and 1249. |
