Cockrill owed money to both the co-plaintiff as well as the defendants for repair work and tires on his vehicle. |

Developing from the case Asberry Brooks v. Jesse Brooks, William Sizemore, and others, in which Reeve was the solicitor for Jesse Brooks. That case was about a tract of land in which dfnt. Brooks secured a sheriff's deed to the tract. The case was abated and the estate of Reeve taxed for the costs and lien placed on the land. Reeve brought this case to enforce the lien for his repayment. |

Maxwell, a CT resident, loaned Will Harr $2500 at 10% interest. Maxwell took as security, a deed of trust to on the "Harr Block" in Johnson City. Atty researched deed, finding one encumbrance stated in deed, but another appeared after the deed was given to Maxwell. Also, mechanics liens were discovered. Document fails to clarify Stuart's wrong doing. |

Plaintiffs were contracters and suppliers in Nashville. Defendant Vaughn was a carpenter and contractor in Franklin. Vaughn entered into a contract to build a house on a lot for co-defendants N. N. Cox and wife for which the plaintiffs provided supplies for $1,000. When the balance of the contract was not paid, the plaintiffs filed suit to enforce a lien on the house built with their supplies. Vaughn filed a cross bill claiming many of the materials were defective upon shipment. |

Two witnesses in this case testified that they served with General Nathan Bedford Forrest at Selma in the State of Alabama. |

Roger Murray was appointed substitute trustee of property in the 4th Ward of Jackson, Madison County, Tennessee. There was a tax lien on the property, but Murray sold the property to Ola Mai Bryant Cuntiff in July 1929 for $4700. Cuntiff argued that Murray's duty was to pay the taxes due on the land, and that he did not. Cuntiff stated that Murray failed and refused to pay the said taxes, so she had to pay $149.50 in taxes. |

Allman, in 1861 filed a bill of complaint against the def's in order to enforce a lien on a tract of land in Montgomery County. Allman alleged that he purchased the land at a sheriff's sale, that it had belonged to Burrell Hancock, then sold the land to Corban with flour mill machinery. Corban gave notes for the sale, but never paid the notes, and Allman sued to enforce the lien. |

The defendant executed four notes for $500 each, but failed to pay any of the notes on the designated day The plaintiff is reserving his right to a vendor's lien for the agreement and filed the bill to enforce the same against the defendant until the notes are paid. |
