Evans was operating a restaurant and found to be in possession of illegal liquor. When the police entered the restaurant, a buzzer was heard in the back and Thompson was observed pouring a liquid into a tub. The bottle holding the liquid smelled like alcohol. Evans is the former owner of the restaurant, having been jailed in Atlanta for some time, and claims he was only there when it was raided to eat. Exhibit material includes search warrants.
