Plaintiff continued to pay premiums after mother's death, but has since learned that ca. 24 Nov. 1934 the deft. made an Ann Johnson the beneficiary instead of herself. S. Umbenhauer, did not describe itself as a loan company. Umbenhauer stated that his firm "was engaged in the business of buying and discounting salaries". The firm also kept no record of accounts. When a party paid his note off or satisfied the bill of sale it was torn up. |
