Odell charged w/killing Peter Stewart by poisoning w/strychnine in proof vial, having intended to kill Richard & Eli Brewer, but 11-yr old Stewart used vial to drink hog backings, not knowing of poison; died next day. Goodman (who lived w/grandpa Jesse Goodman) charged w/accessory before the fact for hiring Odell to do it. Jury convicted Odell of 2nd degree murder, 10 yrs prison.
