The Kennedy’s were accused of murdering James Thomas Lowrie. The specifics are not known. Josephus was found not guilty and General and John were hung. John Kennedy is also listed as John Davis. The first trial was held in Marion and then the Kennedys appealed to have the trial moved because they felt the jurors were prejudiced. In the end only John was found guilty. |
