The Patterson's sued the railroad company for $1000 damages and for right of way. The railroad co. was building its tracks from Gallatin to Scottsville, KY, which went right through plaintiffs' farm, causing direct and incidental damages, including being cut off from wells, mills, etc. Court ruled in favor of plaintiffs for $500. Defendant appealed. Note: Anna also named Annie in case. |
