Bill Castle was charged with violating the age of consent because of his relationship with one Lola Carter.

"Charge of violating the age of consent on a female by the name of Lucy Mullins on or about the ___ day of August 1930." The female in question testified that she was 17 years of age. She had been a resident of Meigs County. While in Knoxville, defendant and girl visited office of Dr. C. E. Pierce to determine if she was pregnant.

Hobert Harber is accused of violating the age of consent by having relations with Lucy Little, a minor, who was later his wife by the time of the trial.

Victim: Bertha Mullendore.

John Vinson had a relationship with Beatrice Carrol and fathered her child out of wedlock. She testified she was 18 when the sexual relationship first started; however, Vinson is charged with a violation of the age of consent law.

Violated the age of consent on the person Nannie Lou Buchanan, daughter of Jim Smith Buchanan. The case lists John Allen Ingram as "col."

Hamby did "unlawfully and carnally know one Leora Blakely, a female over the age of twelve and under the age of twenty one years." The case materials state that Leora was the daughter of Nathan Blakely. She was 18 years old and Hamby was 36 at the time of the trial. Leora gave birth to twins and placed them in the Leath Orphanage at Memphis. At the time of the trial, one of the children had died and the other was still at the orphanage.

Unlawful, felonious and carnal sexual intercourse with Bessie Lee Hany--not occupying the relationship of husband & wife at the time. Miss Hany "not being before or at the time of said knowledge a 'bawd, lewd, or kept' female, against the peace and dignity of the state.

Verdict of Guilty affirmed by Supreme Court of Tennessee.
