Julius J. Dubose was accused of having aided, abetted and participated in a duel in Arkansas in 1870. He was accused of acting as one of the combatants seconds thus violating the State Constitution. 2 oversize ledgers of the minutes of his impeachment are located in WT OV 6. DuBose was impeached by the General Assembly in June 1893 for unjudicial manner. DuBose was a former Confederate solider, editor, lawyer, State Senator, and Criminal Court Judge for Shelby Co. |
