Roberts sued Upman for debt by account. Court ruled in favor of plaintiff for $40.63.

The defendant is a "Tax Collector on Privileges." Plaintiffs applied for a business license from Mathes. They agreed to pay him a the end of 12 months the amount of capital invested in the business during the 12 month period. They paid him the taxes due but Mathes said they owed a license tax as well, equal to the amount already paid.

Ayers is a lawyer and is being sued by H. Amy & Co. for money he received while being their lawyer. Ayers allegedly collected income from 137 interest coupons from the county.

Defendants: O. F. Prescott and J. P. Prescott. Suit is for overdue payment on "goods, wares and merchandise sold and delivered by plaintiff to defendant."

Spurgeon sued Kincheloe for unpaid promissory note of $500 to his damage $1000. Court ruled in plaintiff's favor. Defendant appealed.

R. B. Shore and Knott had made a deal on some cotton and apparently there were some problems that surfaced. R.B. died before things could be resolved.

Plaintiffs: Charles C. Miles, Wm. B. Boorum, John O'Hara. Defendants: J. R. Graves, P. S. Jones, J. C. Rogers, S. C. Rogers, W. D. Andrews. The suit is to collect overdue payment, plus interest, for "goods, wares and merchandise furnished by plaintiff.

Plaintiff sues for $501.50 for his services as a physician in vaccinating 1,003 people in Memphis at .50 each which was performed at the request of the defendant. Laski transferred to Walter his entire claim and defendant was notified of the transfer. Debt is unpaid and still due with interest. Plaintiff sues for $2000.
