The plaintiff alleges that the Parman Bro. (William & Julius) operators of a custom mill in Franklin, TN owed him the value of 919 lbs. of flour, which by contract was supposed to be delivered "on demand." Parman Bro. were unable to adhere to the contract because their mill was burned, however they claimed the wheat left by farmers is not their property, but the property of the farmers. Lots of detail related to flour milling, including local customs. |
