Defendants are partners engaged in a general merchandise business under the firm name of Caruthersville Hardware Company. In 1917, the plaintiff entered into a contract with the defendants where the defendants would purchase and pay for certain wagons and the plaintiff would deliver them. The plaintiff delivered a large amount of wagons, but the defendants failed to pay the full selling price and are indebted to them in the sum of $436 plus $8.42 in interest. |

L. G. Bradley is a resident of Arkansas. In 1917 the complainant entered into a verbal contract with defendant whereby he would cut certain gum, ash, elm and cypress from a tract of land, saw the timber into lumber at his mill and deliver to defendant. The defendant agreed to pay $12.00 per 1000 ft. of board. Defendant was to receive credit for all timber cut at his said lands - $2.00 per 1000 ft. measure. Defendant has not paid what is due the complainant for his work per the agreement. |
