Hughes claimed that the defendant K. T. Peoples was indebted to him for notes in the amount of $749.94 and by account for $127.05. The accused K. L. or fraudulently conveying his land and property to his son, W. B. Peoples, for the purpose of avoiding and delaying payment to creditors, including the plaintiff.

Additional Defendants: Henry Kimber and George Smith, both of London, England. The office of the defendant company was based in London, England with a branch office in Rugby, TN. After becoming insolvent, the company conveyed over 3,000 acres to Kimber and Smith to hold in trust for payment to creditors. Templeton sued for payment of no less than $2,000 of debt on account for legal services he provided the defendants.

Plea of debt by account under $500. Damages at $256.25 plus court costs.

Debt for $1,600.00 for goods, wares, and merchandise, due by open account. Additional plaintiffs: Leopold Strauss, Charles J. Stern, Aaron Ploutt, Joseph Ploutt. Additional defendants: Rosin B. Hurst and M. Dreyfuss.

The debt was for $12.50.

Kenneth McCoy (saddler) contracted with O'Neal to go into his shop & make saddles for him, while boarding at McClary's tavern. He also contracted with Dunn to make 2 saddles for him (ladies' & men's). He made all saddles in O'Neal's saddle shop in Benton. Shop was 200 yards from Dunn's house. McCoy went to Charleston, SC to get hog skin & skirting for sAdd.es. Dispute centers around these sAdd.e transactions.
