H. A. Harth named as defendant as owner of Harth Auto Company. The plaintiff purchased from the defendant an automobile at the price of $490, to be paid in $30 monthly installments. After not being able to pay, the defendant filed a replevin suit, but failed to advertise the car within 10 days of the repossession, violating state law. Having failed to comply with conditional sales law, plaintiff avers the defendant is liable for all amounts paid on the purchase price of the car he paid, or $443. |

Plaintiff Geers and defendant Heck were the owners, as tenants in common, of several tracts of coal land in Campbell and Anderson counties. Geers owned 1/3 interest and Heck the other 2/3 interest. Geer claimed that Heck owed him several thousand dollars for rents, royalties, and profits made from the land for which Heck has never given Geer his 1/3 share as partial owner. There are 3 hand-drawn exhibit maps that show the tracts of land owned by the plaintiff and defendant. |

Sneed sued Hill, family physician. Sneed states that he left his home with his family in August 1863 and left his property in care of servant Joseph Davenport to sell the furniture and rent out the building. Hill presented $394 medical bill to Davenport (thinking he was Sneed's agent) and demanded payment. Davenport gave him a secretary desk, hat rack, and books. Sneed charges Hill to surrender his property for just sum of medical bill and give detailed list & inventory of books and damage to secretary. |
