Continuation of case Thomas L. Hale v. Hugh D. Hale that took place in Chancery Court in Green County in 1857 for debt dispute. Court had ruled in Hugh D. Hale's favor for $193.30. Thomas L. Hale now appealing. The judgment was removed by certiorari. Hugh entered motion to dismiss petition for certiorari. This case sued over a note belonging to Allen Baker, which was ignored by jury in previous case. Supreme Court ruled in Thomas's favor for $565.10. |
