The plaintiff states that in 1916, a man named Ed Heathcot was shot in the plaintiff's yard by a son of the defendant by a former marriage. The defendant and her son convinced the plaintiff that Heathcot was trespassing on their property, but learned later that the defendant and Heathcot had been engaging in acts of adultery.

Douglas and a long list of petitioners wished for a good new road to be installed between Gallatin and Nashville. The road would pass through Rawling's land. Rawlings insisted that a jury to view the path of the road in order to make a proper decision on its path.

Includes Memorandum Opinion of Circuit Court and original suit of Bill Davy - Col. v. Nashville, Chattanooga & St. Louis Railway Company from the Circuit Court of Obion County. Mr. Davy initial suit alleged personal injury totaling $3000 after being flung from the train during departure.
