This case evolved from a previous case where the pla. had a warrant issue against the def. for embezzling money and attempting to defraud the Avondale Farms Creamery. Defendant was a delivery truck driver and a review of his delivery book allegedly found several changed entries. The def. filed a cross bill seeking damages for humiliation and damage to his reputation. Exhibit materials include delivery and accounting records. |

Martin, as County tax assessor and collector, assessed $28 in taxes for a piece of land in Meigs County against Hutsell. When Hutsell did not pay it, Martin issued a ditress warrant to collect the amount. Hutsell claimed that the land was not his and petitioned the court to prevent taxation and action against him regarding the property tax. |
