On October 26, 1889 said building was completely destroyed by fire. Plaintiff and the defendant entered into negotiations to determine the value of the loss. Plaintiff was unsatisfied with the appraisal and brought suit. The destroyed building was situated near an area referred to as "Coon Corner." |
