R.N. Richardson was administrator of W.F.D. Graffenried estate. W.F. D. Graffenried and McLemon were co-signers of a $1000 note made on Nov. 30, 1870 payable on Dec. 25, 1871. The promissory note was given for a 5 year lease of a plantation. Richardson claimed that Graffenried was released from the note by the purchaser of the plantation, W.M Daniel. McLemon claimed that he too was released when Daniel released Graffenried. |
