Bailey Jr. inherited an estate in trust from his mother Maria L. (Clark) Bailey. The plaintiffs contested the validity of note that Schuyler H. Bailey (dec. husband of Maria L.) transferred to Enoch Brown, which they claimed was misappropriated and against the trust deed of the estate. Plaintiffs requested the return of land conveyed by the note and debt on note. |

Plaintiff sued the defendant railroad to show she was the rightful owner of a lot of land and home south of the railroad in Jonesboro, which her husband had deeded to her on the condition she withdraw her petition for divorce. She did halt her divorce but her husband attempted to convey the land secretly to another, who tried to sell it to the railroad. The plaintiff sought return of possession and damages and rents for the period when it was occupied. |
