Plaintiff continued to pay premiums after mother's death, but has since learned that ca. 24 Nov. 1934 the deft. made an Ann Johnson the beneficiary instead of herself. Plaintiff now suing to recover the money spent on the insurance premiums. |

Additional defendants: J.D. & W.H. Goodpasture. Haggard had bought a Jack, or male donkey, from defendants for $800 cash. Defendants executed a bill of sale guaranteeing the health of the donkey. When Haggard bought the donkey, its nose was running and defendants said it caught a cold. The donkey grew rapidly worse and died of glanders. Haggard suing for $800 and interest for what he spent treating for the donkey. Court ruled in plaintiff's favor for $928.13. Defendants appealed. |
