Plaintiff [Smith?] placed $873 of Ocoee money with defendant in 1866. In 1876, defendant for first time informed plaintiff that money was stolen in 1872. Plaintiff charges that it was defendant's duty to inform him immediately of theft so that plaintiff could have taken steps to recover the money or set it up in the then pending suit of F. A. Moses, admr. V. Ocoee Bank, et al. Plaintiffs charges defendant and judge concealed plaintiff's right of action. |

Additional defendants listed in file. In 1916, the defendants filed an original injunction against the plaintiff alleging that she executed to defendant R.H. Hudson a deed of trust conveying a certain tract of land and notes as security. The plaintiff states that she was and is in no way obligated on said notes that indebt her in the sum of $2,250 plus interest. Previous judgment decreed the plaintiff pay certain amounts of the sum, but believes the court was misled by the defendant's counsel. |

Includes printed briefs. The case is on for separate appeals, three being by J.L. Stout as receiver of German Fire Insurance Company and complaining because of demurrers of G.T. Taylor with the plaintiff. Trying to recover securities which constituted the guaranty capital of the insurance company and the United Casualty & Surety company complaining because the chancellor overruled its demurrer to said petition. The case went before the court in April 1916. |
